Two Girls and a Guy (R) 92 min. Garner's rating: 4 Review · Clips
As a mathematical equation, as a romance -- and as a movie -- "Two Girls and a Guy" comes out uneven. Robert Downey Jr. stars as a struggling New York actor who has created his greatest performance -- the illusion that he's a loyal, monogamous lover. He's been leading a double life, stringing along two young women. Heather Graham and Natasha Gregson Wagner co-star. James Toback's film starts as a raunchy comedy of comeuppance, but shifts into an implausible male fantasy. Fox Searchlight. Rated R, with much strong vulgarity and a frank sex scene.
